Harvested some Mystic Herbs again today.

If I go down to the far southwest corner of my field and speak to Tony, I will experience his next heart event:

When I did, it was early afternoon.

Tony: Hey, Freyashawk!  I'[m sorry to... uh, just drop in on you... I felt like taking a walk.  ... It's amazing what you've, uh... done around here.  Wasn't it all wastland...?  With no grass, even?  I'll try a few things that I can manage to do, and follow the example you set reviving the farm.  ... I dont even know if I'm cut out to be a craftman at all... But...  ... Wouldn't it be great to fix things that have sentimental value?  To make things that are memorable?  I'm going to try my best to do wheatever I can do... like you...

Tony:  Uh... Great!  Thanks!  I'll give it my best shot!  I'm glad I talked to you about it, Freyashawk.  I really wanted to tell you.  Maybe... my poppa got so harsh because he watned to push me to do things on my own... Maybe...  If that's the reason, I should try to prove myself as soon as I can... to reassure my poppa...  IN the old days... when the old owners of the farm were here... there was a big meadow here.  And my mom and poppa would bring me here for walks... We'd come pretty often.  I think... I should talk with Poppa and Jimmy about... about Mom.  Yeah, I should do that soon...  Memories forgotten for a long time are coming back... thanks to you, Freyashawk.  So... thanks.

Actually, half past two is too late for the Tony Event.  It is only because I stayed on the field for hours that I was able to still see him on my field.  Very annoying... I hope I have saved it.  I am going to have to load another file to try to get the other two choices.  As early as 9.00 a.m., I can find him there.

If I had chosen:    ARe you just trying to convince yourself?

Tony:  Trying to convince myself...?!  You really think that's what I'm doing?  No, I really think that!  Maybe... my poppa got so harsh, etc.

I can do it as early as 8.00 a.m.

If I go into Tabitha's house at 11.00 a.m., I experience an Event immediately.  I am able to do so after 4.00 p.m. as well, after experiencing Tony's Event and Gareth's Event.

Tabitha and I face one another.

Tabitha with music:    Freyashawk!  I've been waiting for you to show up!  Mweh=heh-heh... Don't you think that frogs are the cutest animals of all?  Would' tyou love to try being an adorable little froggie yourself?  ... What do you mean, 'aboslutely not'?  I'd turn you into a frog just for a sec., then turn you back!  I'm not letting you wiggle out of it today, human!  Zazzarazzoo, a frog are you!

I sweat profusely now.

She launches a fireball at me, and I fall to the ground.

Tabitha: Freyashawk!  Oh no!  I messed up the spell!

The screen darkens then Tabitha faces Gareth in front of her bed.  I am in the bed.

Gareth:  ... She seems to have regained consiousness.  I believe she is out of danger...  How very typical of you.  Turning people into frogs!  REALLY?

Tabitha:  I just...

Gareth:  Magic must be used judiciously.  Recklessly castng spells you haven't mastered is dangerous! ... I hope you'll learn something from this episode...

He twirls in a circle and disappears.

Now Tabitha and I face one another again.

Tabitha:  Sorry about that, Freyashawk...  I... Actually... I'm kind of a klutz at doing magic...  I just wanted to practice a little bit.  I'm really sorry it turned otu this way...  I'm glad you're okay.  And I guesss== ugh -- we have Gareth to thank for that...  I'm going to buckle down and study up on my magic, so I can use it for stuff that really matters...

Frog Follies;

At 1.00 p.m., Tony is not at the crossroads yet and Gareth's house is locked.  AT 2.00 p.m., Tony is at the creossroads, so you no longer can expeirence his heart event on your farm, and Gareth's house opens at 2.00 as well so you CAN experience his Event with Jimmy at 2.00 p.m.

However, evidently I have to experence Tabitha's EVent in the morning... at 2.00 p.m. it will not trigger when I enter her house.  Oh well...

At 4.00 p.m., however, after experiencing both Tony's and Gareth's Heart Events, I enter Tabitha's house and her event triggers!




I enter Gareth's house at 4.30 p.m. and experience an invent automatically.

JImmy is facing Gareth:

Jimmy:  WAAAAAAHHHH!

Gareth:  If you would just remain calm...

JImmy:  OWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!


Gareth:  And allow me to inspect the wound...

Jimmy:  ARGHHHHHHHHHHH!


The screen darken, then:

Gareth:  Ah, you've, er, come at an opportune moment... Could you please deal with this individual?  He came bursting into my premises some moments ago, ran around, then broke a bottle and injured himself! I would ike to treat the wound, but in his state of uproar, it is impossible...  He seems to be in an extreme state of terror for reasons which I cannot determine...

Jimmy with big red heart:  I-It's because you're an evil wizard!  You were going to eat me!  ... I mean, I thought so...  I guess I shouldn't have busted in like that... I just did it on a dare, y'know...?  Sorry I broke your bottle...

Gareth:  the bottle is of small consequence.  Rather, please allow me to tend to your wound immediately...

Screen darkens.

Now I am facing Gareth alone.

Gareth:  There. Now the treatement is complete.  The wound was not serious, and it  will heal in short order. ... Are you suprirsed that I am able to give first aid?  meremly a case of first-hand familiarity.  I often break bottles, drop cups, fumble dishes, knock over bookshelves, and incur injuries....  ...  ... ER, are you familiar with the law of gravity?  Objects fall by nautre.  Scientific inevitablity.  Thank you for rendering assistance.... Indeed, I am not proficient in human relations.  My personality is inclined to solitary research.  My mentor attempted to instrut me further in human relaitions, but I lack your 'people skills'...  I admire how easily you were able to calm that rascal wtih whom I could make no headway..  Of course, I reserve my greatest admiration for my mentor.
